MISSION

About us
Bulsho Researchers Organization (BRO) was established on April 21, 2022, by a group of Somali intellectuals committed to leveraging research and education to tackle the pressing challenges facing Somali youth. Recognizing the critical role that youth empowerment plays in building a resilient and prosperous society, BRO focuses on addressing the root causes of violence and extremism through evidence-based interventions and ideologies.
Key Focus Areas

Youth Empowerment
BRO works to provide Somali youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in today's rapidly changing world. By offering training, mentorship, and educational programs, we aim to empower young people to become active agents of positive change in their communities.

Gender
To emphasizes the importance of recognizing and valuing the differences and contributions of individuals across the gender spectrum, including inclusivity, equity, representation, awareness education and also the implementation police and practices.

Violence and Extremism
BRO investigates the root causes of violence and extremism in Somalia, including political, economic, social, and ideological factors. By understanding the drivers of conflict, we aim to develop targeted interventions that promote peace-building, conflict resolution, and reconciliation at the local, national, and regional levels.

Impact of social media
: In today's digital age, social media platforms play a significant role in shaping public opinion, spreading misinformation, and inciting violence. BRO analyzes the impact of social media on Somali society and develops strategies to promote responsible online behavior, counter extremist narratives, and foster digital literacy among youth.
